Senior Project Manager and Principal Mechanical Engineer, Budlong
& Associates, Inc. Sixteen years of facility and consulting
engineering experience in project management, supervisory management
and mechanical engineering. Recent project management experience
includes providing mechanical, architectural, electrical and structural
coordination for the following:
- Participated
in design projects for many school systems including: Ventura
County USD, Oxnard USD, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD),
Pasadena USD, Norwalk La Mirada USD and others.

Numerous Amgen projects including: laboratory upgrades, office
upgrades, clean room areas, glass washer installations, hazardous
(H-Room) design analysis, numerous hood installations (ranging
from fume hoods to Class II B2 Hoods), and other projects.
- Santa
Barbara Public Health Agency - Design of a TB Isolation lab. The
design parameters were consistent with the requirements for CDC
Level 3 including the installation of a Class II B2 Bio-safety
Cabinet and the surrounding area.
- Baxter
Biotech - design of a Bulk Storage Transfer Room, Teardown Area,
Cold Rooms and other areas

- Boiler and Chiller installation.
Prior to entering management, Mr. Jordan spent many years in field
service engineering gaining valuable hands-on experience in a variety
of engineering and field project management tasks. Specific areas
of competence include project management, team leadership, and technical
support for projects involving utility design, facility design,
equipment installation, and equipment startup. Specific project
experience includes: the design, specification, selection, installation,
and startup of numerous boilers, burners, controls, pumps, fans,
motors, and other auxiliary equipment, along with a working knowledge
of predictive maintenance vibration analysis, boiler inspections,
boiler tuning, water treatment, environmental compliance, ASME testing,
and many other related tasks.
